In a time of need and food is not getting to those in need I agree that this is big toys for small boys with more money than sense.
Sending money to some modern day Bob Geldolf is the idea - even if Band Aid II was in retrospect not successful in it’s goals and aspirations (commonly known as a failure) it gives us shockingly sad but amusingly un-PC moments like:
“it’s a world of dread and fear Where the only water flowing is the bitter sting of tears And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom Well tonight thank God it’s them instead of you”
SHOCKING Bob - shocking! And Bono, was that you I heard singing the last lyic of bitter romance in 1984. Thank the irish lord that you have redeamed yourself over the last twenty years and are now working on the ‘road’ with people of ‘good intensions’ who are working a ‘hell’ of a lot on the campaign to “Make Poverty History”.
For more info and a list of the other greats who worked with Bob and Bono for all good intensions go to:

to learn more about the song “Do they know it’s Christmas time”
…and guys - no… the majority of Africans at the time did not know it was Christmas… because they do not celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ within the religion of Islam.
Bob - really!
That’s all.
