been watching the NZ 20/20 series …

must say 20 / 20 cricket looks like it could be the future of the game . big hits, risky play, more action … and the most important aspect being you really don’t know who’s won until about ^approx2 overs before the finish (unlike one dayers where yev sometimes gotta fair idea at over number <25)

+ how long does a person’s mind stay focused on a particular task? an hour? 2 hours? one day? as long as ein piece of string? who knows, but optimally i’m sure it can’t be much longer than a formula one race = 3hours(? please correct if incorrect) – but thats driving a vehicle at 250+ km/h – so i’d say 6 hours – which is about the length of a 20/20 match .

… but 3 cricket permutations ? (test / one day / 20/20 ) ? i guess teams are touring with that concept in mind already …
